Nah mate, haven’t had feeling in my 4/5 finger for over a year now. My 3rd finger is pretty much gone now too and half my palm and lower forearm. My left hand is starting to get numb along the outer side as well now. Certain movements are giving me shooting numbness in both arms and the nerve pain is coming in bouts of 2-3 days now.

Have another MRI on Wednesday and see the Neuro week after.

That bruise isn’t painful at all, that’s the issue, no feeling in that hand. I burnt myself a few months back on the oven and didn’t know until the blister juices weee running down my arm.

Can’t say I’d have put up with numbness anywhere on my body for more than a few days Kiwi, glad you’ve got it in hand now though (please excuse the pun).

Don’t know if you’ve seen my previous posts this year on the matter Deegee, but this has been on going for a while. I haven’t been to work since July

Yes I’d seen them, but hadn’t realised this has been an issue for you a year or so, I thought it happened this summer. My bad if I missed earlier posts Kiwi.

All good mate, nah you haven’t missed anything., just my cloudy pre coffee morning head not reading posts properly

Before getting the first MRI in August my hand had been numb for about 6 months. I was seeing a Chiro thinking it was a trapped nerve but wasn’t getting anywhere. So decided to chase it up with my GP.

In hindsight I probably did let it go on for too long before seeing the doc. My shoulder on that side had been aching for a good 6 months before my hand went numb. I just was a dumb male and put up with it.

had tonsillitis since last Monday but unable to get to docs due to working away and just insanely busy, I think its starting to go now, today been far far less painful and despite still being swollen its nowhere near as red and the white spots all seem to have gone so I think my body got its backside in gear and decided like me that I don't have time to be ill.

Saw the Neurosurgeon today.

I’m booked in for a discectomy and fusion at C5/6 & C6/7 on the 10 Jan. She’s quite confident there is no tumour but I’ll be getting MRI’s regularly for the next few years.

Let’s hope this f**king works.

That in itself is excellent news, when you think about what you were led to believe a few months ago. (y)

Well I've had what feels like a head cold and stomach bug for a while, other half has a dry tickly cough that's keeping her up at night and I've woken up this morning with a constant stomach cramp that won't go away... so I'm pretty sure if I google my symptoms I have hours to live

Get some 'Oil of Cloves' on it, Duke.....it won't take the pain away entirely, but it will take the edge off it.

I’d recommend Havana Club 7yr old mouthwash, but swallow don’t spit. ;)
