You are making it better Duke, just by being there. Girls are wired differently....a strong silent presence will say a thousand words we could never write.

Deep spasms in my neck that make it nearly impossible to look right, lean right or even look up. It's also sending lightning bots of headaches from the base of my skull to my ear and brow

I managed an emergency chiropractor appointment which helped a little, I'm due to go on Thursday anyway.

Off for a skin cancer biopsy today.

After having the large BCC cut out of my nose (and skin graft) I was getting yearly checks and nearly every time there was a biopsy on something. But during the period of dealing with my spine stuff I let the checks slide as I had more on my mind.

So 3 years later I finally go to get checked and have a lesion on my shoulder I’m worried about. And she’s pretty certain it’s another BCC and will need removing. So biopsy today for confirmation.

Hope it all goes well, Kiwi.

I had the same earlier in the year. Getting older has a lot of downsides too.

I’m not overly worried. She’s 95% sure it’s a BCC and will need to be removed, but out of the three types to get its the one you pick. Same as what got cut out of my nose.

The hard bit will be fitting it in around all the bloody iso I have to do and healing before going to work again

I feel like absolute SH!T.

Big diet change at the start of the week.. no more takeaways and chocolate. I'm going to put how I'm feeling down to that.

I never feel refreshed after sleep but this week I've just been getting more exhausted as each day goes on. I'm barely holding my head up at my desk today

My shoulder is pretty sore. I had a consultation last week. They won't scan it until it's been over 6 months since the injury. Even then they might not operate if the tear isn't big enough. They could give me a steroid injection but that lowers your immune system so they're not offering that at the moment.

So basically I need to carry on doing my exercises and hope it improves.

Biopsy came back positive for a BCC. But it’s superficial and booked in for next break to be removed just under a local. Stitches will be out before I head back to work. Just another scar to add to the collection (lol)

The pain in my shoulder is pretty constant. I'm going to see if the health care through with can offer anything. I would like a scan so I can know what the injury is.

A decent physio might help if you know of one.

Hope you get sorted,

I’d also look into spinal issues mate, mine effort all started with an aching shoulder for about 6 months. Definitely worth discounting it at least.

It's a tear in the rotator or arc impingement. They can't confirm without a scan. They won't do a scan for a few months.

I've got a referral appointment tomorrow morning with BUPA. I suspect they will tell me to have a course of physio before they look at going down the scan/surgery route.
