I am getting so fed up with my knee - it's only getting worse.

Over the counter pain relief is all in vain so I've requested stronger meds. Still waiting on my referral to a specialist team where they can hopefully get me an MRI scan. This has got to get sorted and fast.

The pain is exhausting, waking up is difficult, getting to sleep is difficult, working is really tough and my concentration window is about 5 minutes at a time, maybe 3 songs long if I'm lucky.

My left hamstring has gone very tight and feels a bit sore. It's been tighter than usual recently. I thought I had stretched it out but mid way through the second set of squats it started to make its presence known.

Kwacky.. do you have anterior tilt in your pelvis? If so stretching your hamstrings is the wrong thing to be doing - your hamstrings will be tight because your hip flexors are too tight so stretch those and stop stretching the hamstrings.

Acupuncture really sorted out my leg/knee on Wednesday, I'm walking mostly limp free and can feel my VMO starting to engage again which is brilliant! She's got me doing 3x10 body weight squats from a chair 3 times a day to try and keep my VMO from wasting any further - the difference between my left and right quads are ridiculous already from muscle wastage

Erm, no idea. I've never had it checked. A quick google suggests not.

Glad to hear the treatment is working for you.

Still my stupid shoulder!! Done 3 months of physio, and pain killers and nothing has made any difference.

Had an xray last week, saw the doc today and it shows nothing of interest. Now been referred to see a surgeon for the next opinion, another 3-4 weeks waiting...

Sounds just like a problem a friend of mine had - it turned out to be a rotator cuff injury, it was pretty painful just prior to getting fixed and took a lot of hard work to get it right again.
Like you, he went through all the physio etc beforehand, only to be told after the op it had only made it worse.
Needless to say he wasn't a happy chap.

Fatigue. My body has realised I didn't get up at 5 am this morning and has decided it wants a rest day.

Unfortunately I have to go collect kids gear and do the groceries so they don't starve when they turn up this afternoon.

I've got an insect bite on my nutsack.

I can't complain, it's been a while since someone had a good suck on my balls.

Haha, poor, Kwacky !!

I'm off my Zapain at the minute and have been asked to not use anything other than Naproxen for the next 3 days - Day 2 and I'm really struggling!! So much pain.

They're replacing my Zapain with Tramadol due to the headaches I've been getting and want me to leave it 3 days before starting tramadol to be sure the Zapain was the cause

Blimey - be careful with all those painkillers Cav. Easy to be dependant on them.

I hope your pain eases soon....

I've done Tramadol in the past Cav, they're effective but made me feel very weird - almost like I had a half second transmission lag with the rest of the world, like being really pissed, but with none of the jollity or carefree nature booze normally gives in return for the hangover.
