Kicking practice last night at Taekwondo. My feet are very very sore. I should be at home with my feet resting on the back of an obedient female Nordic slave

I don't know the reference but okay, Kwacky.. whatever suits you!

My legs are tired today. I got a PB for the 5K of 28:18. Around 2 minutes quicker than the last time I ran.

There are no short cuts for improving PBs, Cav. The only way to do it is putting the miles in as you are finding.

Exactly that, Duke! I'm very surprised to have progressed as much as I have.

I hate long distance running, I always have. This time it's a lot easier to keep going simply because it fits in easier around uni work and everything else better than the gym does

And its free. Apart from proper running shoes that is.

I don't especially enjoy the running but id do get some satisfaction from improvements and there is a certain natural high once you have pushed yourself hard and have showered and changed.

@cav if you start getting a bit bored have a look around your area for a parkrun. It's a free, organised, 5k timed event. You could call it a race, but you only really race yourself.

If your lucky you might have a couple nearby so you can vary it a bit.

There's one about a mile from my house. I should do it but I know what I'm like, I'm too competitive and I'll go way too fast and practically kill myself doing it haha.

I'm not bored of it so much as struggle to motivate myself to do it. I'm already down to running twice a week rather than 3-4 but then I haven't made the time to go through the woods for weeks

My instructor has taken the day off as his dad is ill. I still went to the gym but I took Mrs Kwacky with me. I didn't work very hard as I was showing her a few exercises.

The Morton's Neuroma is mostly gone now (though I've been referred to the foot doctor anyway) but I've been suffering what feels like bruising between my heel and arch in my other foot.

Anyway, long story short is running is bad for your health! I've not had 2 seperate injuries inside of 2 months in any sport EVER! haha

Pretty sure it's Plantar Fasciitis so I'll foam roller my foot and stretch more for a few weeks and see if it gets any better

Legs and abs is not a good combo. Too many big muscles. I'm shattered.
