I fell off the diet-rails a bit last week but I'm back on track now..

Put on only half a pound though which is somewhat a relief.

Upper chest cable press
Lateral raises

Bent over row
Push ups
L-sit shoulder dumbell press

Straight bar lat pull down/row (cables)
Lower pec cable press
Rear delt flies

(1x drop sets)
Prisoner curls
skullcrushers

(1x drop set)
Cable bicep curl
Cable straight bar tricep extensions

Update on the gym session - I rushed to the toilet and was the closest I've ever been to vomiting without actually vomiting.

I made it to 2 sets in of the 2nd triple set but I did add in ab exercises to every set to make the session harder

:D

My wife did boxercise last night and she was close to throwing up. Glad I missed that one.

I did my 20-15-10 session last night - intermediate amount of weight for me.

I then broke it up with doing some 40kg squats to test my knee then something I've not tried before....

L-sit into a handstand: start in the L-sit position then tuck legs beneath, rotate your body so you're vertical upside-down, extend legs and press. I couldn't manage the balancing (I've never been able to do handstands) but I could get into the position. I wanted to test my strength though so did it against the wall and managed 3 (there were some girls next to where I was doing it and I didn't want to land on them so didn't push myself :D

Busy day today, normal cycling commute, which is note about 7 miles a day.. Added onto that another 4 miles of cycling and a7 mile trail run. Recon I'll sleep well..

Or at least I will when I get home... Got distracted after then run by a beer, post run rehydration!

Strength session today.. Going to try for 5 reps of pull ups with a 25kg weight between my legs (effective body weight 108kg, more than 17 stone).

Also going to start using a resistance band to train for 1-arm pull ups... fingers crossed, 3 weeks time and I'll be doing them ( I may invest in some creatine! )

Nice.. I'd rather be doing what I'm doing though - sole reason? I don't like beer!

Swap it for a cider though and I'm very much tempted

Lovely 10 mile run this morning, really enjoyed the route as it was a nice mix of road and off-road paths. Lovely morning well beautiful blue sky's, just a tad chilly.

The days you really enjoy running

I did a random assortment of painful exercises including drops sets in the middle of triple sets and various ab exercises such as "around the world".

Tonight is back to 20-rep-sets. Pre-workout/Caffiene/Food required so I don't vomit!

5 mile recovery run tonight, I really struggled to get my heart rate above 140bpm! My average used to be 155bpm for the same pace.

15 reps of bodyweight pull ups are now a doddle, in fact I think I could rep out 20.

I recorded 1 of each of my sets too, showed them to the gf who proclaimed exhaustion just watching it :D

Haha, I've already been doing that ;)

I bought myself a dip belt with a chain to hang weights from - I can do 5 reps with 25kg (effectively I weight over 17 stone when doing those)

I've not trained for a while so my PT made me do supersets for legs, back and chest.

I'm a broken man.

7.5 mile torch lit trail run, and it was proper wet and muddy.... Awesome...

Hopefully my trainers will dry in time for another run over the weekend.
