I've had a great time recently, productive, mostly enjoyable time off work before I start on Monday.

The last 2 days have been very productive yet I'm really pissed off.

I'm also tired and hungry right now and want to go out in the car to escape for a little bit but I already did that earlier. What do you lot do to escape?

1) yesterday's late lunch due to the above (ha ha) took the bike out for a nutty half hour (ish) I loved it, a couple of moments of obsense speeds felt absolutely awesome.
Man I have forgotten what this bike is capable of in anger, when roads are dry and nobody in your way, well one Audi TT that thought it could race..... soon put a stop to that lmao.....
2) Me my camera and I, walking. 7 to 10 miles around Windsor Great Park or down and along the river gives me a little peace. As they say nature & just you and it is very heeling.
Well before the chatty loud joggers, and packs of cyclists, get out there!

Your walking with the camera is kind of what I did yesterday but with less walking. I was up there for over an hour. Sometimes listening to music. Sometimes just quiet. Take some snaps of the car.

I do love to drive quick through the lanes but I dont want to be using too much fuel so instead i coasted back down the hill. I started at 30mph and was doing 65mph by the bottom round some tight bends. Was great! Haha

I ended up getting really pissed off with one of the dogs so had to leave the house to calm down. The dog was being a dick all day mind you but still no reason to be mad with a dog

Er indoors and her mother were at the garden centre yesterday as there is a fruit & veg shop there all organic thing.
There was a woman in front of them bought a shitload of stuff telling everyone it was for her elderly neighbours and she was helping out.
As er indoors was walking back to the car she overheard this woman bragging to her friend on her mobile “ yeah I got loads and loads of stuff, I’m gonna stockpile it in the garage “
**** me im glad I wasn’t there I would have strangled the cow.

These people need to be publicly flogged.

Britain seems full of selfish people. We will be in rationing soon thanks to them.

Should've made polite conversation, wangled her address out of her, then gone round & nicked the lot.

Couldn't agree more. Some of the videos at our local tesco and Sainsburys is shocking. They do need locking up but then we could be wasting valuable 3 meals per day on them!

My wife's company.

They want them to work from home covering usual hours of business.

But only pay them 80%

Once they get the money from the government.

I've drafted an email for Sam to send.

If they stick to the rule of 80% pay then I would be doing 80% hours

They can't do it.

Either the business remains open and they pay 100% or the business is closed and they get 80% from the government.

I believe it would be fraud if they were going to claim the 80% wages back from the Government , if not it's just the firm taking the piss .

Staff have to be furloughed ( this is the phrase the Government is using), informed of that, i presume in writing, before the Company can claim the money back.

The portal to reclaim the money is being set up by the Government now but the word is it wont be repaying monies until some time in April at the earliest and most likely the end of April.

I have been recommended to take 12 weeks off because of my diabetes, but so far the only option for me to do that is to lump all of my holiday entitlement together, 6 weeks... Then 6 weeks still employed but unpaid...

The bank will bloody love me for that...

Not sure they can do that, Stonesie.

If they have no work for you then you can be furloughed and the Govt will cover 80% of your salary. Otherwise I would have thought they have to pay you in full or find you other work.

The latest suggestion is to furlough staff on a 2 weeks on that, 2 weeks working basis to effectively halve the workforce on any given day...

The main reason that I want the full 12 is that I'm back with my parents at the moment, both over 75 and one has COPD, the other, Hypertension and angina... Bringing the virus home could get really bad, not a risk that I am willing to take.

I might be able to get my holiday's arranged for the time that I should be working so I have no gaps in pay, but then my holidays are spent and if the virus flares up again I'm stuck working.

Maybe the government advice will change to make diabetics required to take the time off rather than recommended, If I was still living away from home it wouldn't bother me much, I tend to shake most bugs off faster than average despite the diabetes.

Ebay seller.

I am unsure if I am being done over. Been waiting 2 weeks for a parcel. I know it's tough times but literally everything else has come bar this one thing. The seller seems very short with information when I message him, and doesn't even message back sometimes. Is it the virus or have I been done over!

Luckily all on ebay so I'll make a claim if I don't get it by today
