No the fan cuts in and out as expected Monty.

Thanks for the suggestion. Best guess is it's something that has an input to the ecu which is starting to break down when hot . I suspect it could be something like the resistance of the cranks sensor changing when hot and then failing and subsequently the ecu loosing the signal so cutting the fuelling.

Just a guess tbh. If the factory trained mechanics with the full factory diagnosis software and all their professional knowledge and skill (been in dealers twice under warranty) can't fix I can't be bothered chasing my tail with it a minute longer.

I had planned to sell it when I get back from Europe. Even if I fixed it now I won't gain anything as I've missed the trip. Its getting sold and the replacement shopping is underway.

Cheers for all the kind words and help guys.

Twats on the motorway who speed up to overtake you then cut you up as that's the junction they need to leave the motorway. It happened 3 times today.

Ringing up the doctors to ask for my ears checked and potentially syringed....their reply

'yes we can check them but can't syringe them'

'You guys used to' I said 'where would it take place now then

What they said next made me angry

' We get you referred to the hospital'

WTF, no wonder the NHS has massive queue times, it's a 5 minute bloody job. Poor people who work in hospitals, they must be so angry with all these little jobs.

This country is disgusting. Doctors don't want to see you but now call you and just talk to you over phone after waiting hours and hours for a call back

I don't tend to ring doctors or ever see them but when I do I have a problem I'm not a time waster, unlike some di €k heads who go in for a bloody sniffle.

Image boo!! It's a shame you have problems with the 10R mate, take your time finding the right bike for you, but that HP4 would be cracking bike in my honest opinion after riding the S1KRR the other day. Maybe not exotic but reliable and blinking quick with all the nice added on bits that make for a plush ride plus easy to tour on!

It must be the day for it as it happened to me twice as well.

Just for good measure I'll raise you the twats that overtake you and then slow down below your speed, making you slow down or re-overtake them. (headbang)

GWR !! Specifically the nunbnuts who make up the timetables..

It's bad enough that because of them I've lost 20 mins of my morning every working day for the last year.

But who the **** seriously thinks it's a good idea to have a train leave at the exact time a train from Waterloo is due to arrive at the same station.

Another 30 mins of NY life lost to overpriced cheap g&t.. Wankers.

Bought 2 hot chocs for me and my missus for 2 quid each...they taste like hot water
I also picked up a bag of Maltersers and whacked them in the hot chocs but should of bit into them to half them because they haven't melted enough To make the water taste lile chocolate
