They're dire. Over 4 hours in the end and it still took them 20 minutes once I got there and gave them my order number.

Absolutely woeful!

New vent... drivers of cars. So many on the road today and none of them could drive! I fear the standards once lockdown is lifted

Should they still be doing click and collect? It's not exactly essential is it?

Depends on your perspective. If your house has broken somewhere and the builder needs materials then I'd say it's fairly essential.

I didn't mean for trade, I meant for the general public.

Twats!

No, it should be closed to the public. It should be easy for them as they already have trade counters.

Well I call it sods law because I've had to do plumbing and now electrics since the lock down and I am not paying for someone to do what I can do myself.

Oh.. one of the items was a window handle for my in-laws. Theirs had fallen off and the window was not shut-able

Drama queens.
Bloke gets kicked out of his flat with his misses kicking off throwing all his clothes out the window, they are top floor and clothes go everywhere including the roof. Few days later act as if nothing happened.

I don't mind a few fights here and there. It happens but the whole estate don't need to know about their sh!t I couldn't give a flying f' about them, but they just moved in a couple of weeks back...best not be like this all the time

Just had a meeting.

Qantas has cancelled our planned flights home on Thursday, after telling the company they were guaranteed as the Govt. had giving them a bailout package. This was going to be getting home a day late anyway. So company has had to scramble for other options. We have to leave the platform on Wednesday or we cross contaminate with the incoming crew and lose all our exemptions and would be stuck in Darwin for two weeks in quarantine....I can’t do that, I will go f**king mental.

So best case they are trying to get the private charter again, and I’ll get back Wednesday. But they don’t know if that’s feasible or even available at this last minute notice.

Worst case (other than losing exemption and being stuck in Darwin) is quarantine in Darwin 2 nights and fly to Sydney via Alice Springs on Friday

It’s got to the point I’m finding this all rather hilarious because if I don’t I’m going to lose the plot. It’s day 28 since I left home and I still have no set date to look forward to getting home.

My new mantra.

“I have a job and my closest and dearest are healthy and well” I just keep repeating that to myself to stay sane. Just wouldn’t mind seeing my nearest and dearest sometime soon :?

Shit mate, not good. Fingers crossed something gets sorted out. It's pretty crap of Qantas to pull out at such late notice, and especially after a government bailout !

It’s quite ironic how my social media is flooded with people lamenting how crazy they are going being stuck at home (and completely valid) yet it’s the one thing I crave the most right now.

I’m so looking forward to being trapped with my lass and my kids for two weeks and have an excuse to not have to do anything else.

I’m only going to be home a little over 2 weeks then away again for another 4 weeks (1 week quarantine 3 weeks offshore)

Facts:
Approximately 80 year old woman and 30-something man arrive together in car.
Man puts mask on woman. (No sanitiser used on his hands after exiting the vehicle and touching its exterior).
They both enter the store together.
She was using a stick and struggling to walk.

Now.. am I missing a point here because I do not understand why she is there! She clearly can't carry a basket. She clearly would struggle with a trolley of little essentials. The man has to be there to take her there so why not just do the shopping for her?!

Understandably, she may be out of the house for her daily exercise but why not just go for a walk in the sun rather than risk her life unnecessarily (for the points stated above).

It angers me that some people don't take it seriously at all.

Please tell me if I have completely missed something, I would like to be wrong rather than pissed off!

Sorry to hear your getting the royal run around Kiwi. Can almost feel your pain buddy and its not funny I know.

I get you wanting to be stuck at home with your family and hope that happens soon without too much stress, BS or hassle. Ironically when your used to working away and separation from loved ones, lockdown is actually quite good in a lot of respects.

Fingers are firmly crossed for you buddy. Stay safe and get home soon.

No I just get passed off with people who don't help themselves. If it is everything it seems to be then she and the man are an idiot.

Like I say, I hope I'm wrong.
