So, are we going to have a sweepstake on how long it's going to be before the Huawei operating system operator flicks their switch off again.?

I'll start, 3 weeks

The sooner I can buy a self driving car the better. I get no pleasure from driving anymore. At least on a bike you can leave the muppets and **** behind.

Cookie, make sure you have the foot brake on before putting the Seat into Park when stopping. DSG boxes are known to have a problem in locking if this isn't done in that order.

I'd love self driving cars. So I could do something else during the commute, and not waste 2+hours each day commuting.

A friend has just told me here daughter was driving home from work yesterday with her 18 month old son in the car and she was side swiped by another car coming from a side junction. The woman driving drove off without stopping.

WTF is wrong with people these days when it comes to using the roads ?

Fortunately the truck following her has it on camera from the cab. Hopefully the woman concerned will get a hefty fine and or ban.

Probably an uninsured driver with no licence.
I'm going to guess that the response back from the police will be that the vehicle driver is not traceable.

Hope I'm wrong, obviously mate. :(

67 plate Mercedes so if it isn’t insured the woman wants locking up.

I am seriously considering it for the car.

You can gave one factory fitted from new with the latest version of mine. It’s an integral part of the rear view mirror. Very neat.

Apparently around 1 in 10 drivers in the UK are uninsured currently (although the percentage varies geographically).

As I said, I do hope I'm wrong. However whilst driving off used to be a foolish move that would lead to more serious charges, these days it seems that pursuing the culprit is so labour intensive & time consuming, that is fast becoming the preferred strategy for lawbreakers.

NHS Physio Phoneline.

I assume they have no receptionist. Ever. Thus expect the physios to answer the phone.

I injured my knee in March, received my referral a few weeks back, tried ringing them countless times to arrange the appointment and they NEVER answer.

Just tried to call them again now to arrange an appt and after 3x back to back calls (about 8 minutes) not one call was answered.

Don't mind me with a knee that displaces itself every few hours, makes me struggle up and down stairs, gradients and sitting, standing or laying still for too long :@

If there no scope for going private?

Does your employer not provide any medical insurance?

They have a Bupa pool thing which I didn't opt into so it isn't available to me. I figured after doing my knee 2 years ago and concussion last year that I would be safe.

There's a thing called sod's law which I learned about recently...

I sympathize with you, Cav....had a decent number of knee issues over time during all the years I spent installing carpeting. They er, "floor" you, 'cos there's nothing you can do mobility-wise, except cycling helped me to a certain degree, injections to drain the fluid, minor surgery, etc.

I get what you're saying about gradients too. People see you struggling on stairs they tend to understand, but they see you struggle to walk up a wheelchair ramp and you feel like a frickin' pansy. And "It's too steep!" seems a lame excuse as the wheelchairs are rolling past you.

Up isn't as bad as down which is the most frustrating thing. The amount of times i've been rear ended is astounding. I should get a 360 cam for claiming

Sounds like my experience about 6 years ago. Damaged wrist (snigger). I ended up paying privately for treatment and physio. It cost, but was worth it.

Physio on the NHS is a nightmare.

Private physio can be very reasonable. I have paid privately a few times and always come away thinking it was money well spent. It doesn’t have to mean endless appointments as one or two visits can be enough if they give you exercises to do at home.

As to ringing any Government phoneline.

They no longer have enough staff to deal with anything. I have outstanding queries with HMRC dating over six months ago and though they can confirm they have received them, they are unable to advise when anyone will get round to dealing with it.

This Country’s infrastructure is on the verge of collapse.
