Ignore the comment its during the crisis only, it will be permanent as my postie told me about this 3 months ago, well before the crisis.

IT systems. I've had enough of work today. I've been unable to get my teeth into anything all day as I've been fighting technical gremlins.

Fed up and clock watching now. 7 hours of technical mishaps does not aid productivity nor motivation (headbang)

Our moronic neighbours.

Three generations all together this afternoon, middle generation saying how it will be all back to normal at the weekend and they will be able to do what they want again.

People who don't give a flying one about doing their job well, especially when I get it in the neck because the cockwomble can't be bothered to read and allocates a small vehicle to a very busy route, the paperwork specifies one of our largest. "Take what I've allocated and do not be late out of the yard or I will have to report YOU!" was his answer.

The warehouse workers were crammed in like sheep, had to leave a couple behind as there was simply nowhere to put them.

Yes, for now.

Quick update, the guy who allocates the buses was grumpy with me this morning but that route got a double decker. I think he got a word in his ear from above. :D

One of my roommates committed suicide the other day. He didn't do it here, Thank God....but it's still a very strange situation.
Career criminal...spent much, if not most of his adult life behind bars. And all of the last three years or so getting his life on a proper & positive track.
Then he lost his job. His girlfriend relapsed, and his mom passed away, all in quick succession.

It's very strange.....he'd planned it all out - in plain sight, if you like - written out some letters, booked a motel room, checked in, taken one last shot of his drug-of-choice (I don't know what that would be), then called the police to let them know, and finally, hanged himself.
49 years old. RIP.

It is. I think his mom passing was the final straw...anything else just cemented his decision, but I've got to give the guy credit, he was a very devoted son, and told me more than once that he had a lot to make up for as far as his mom, being a total letdown to her, etc.
But, he was a very angry guy inside...perhaps at himself more than anything. But he'd mellowed a lot these past two years...not the person he used to be...and in a positive way. And funny in a way that could bring tears to your eyes.

Sorry to hear that, that's rough...

Today's annoyance, people who are willing to sit in traffic for an hour or more to get their fingers in a greasy box... Of chicken, the local KFC drive through re-opened yesterday and people seem to have nothing better to do than go and sit in an idling car for an hour to get some.

Same in Basingstoke yesterday. They where happy to block the fire station exit so they could get their fix.

I have been seeing alot more of this prior to the lock down as well, i tend to head out cross country to get to various motorway networks (Well I used to lol) and would see all this crap dumped overnight, mainly blocking farmers gate to their fields !! Seriously i really dont get peoples thought process, they really dont give one shit about anyone else apart from themselves and making money!!
