I was having quite a chill (albeit long) lunch out in the car when on my drive back to the office I overtook a car that didn't understand lanes are there for you to drive in. He forced me into oncoming traffic (there was no way I could have stopped as he came into my lane while I was passing him) and I had to swerve back into lane immediately after.

He then had the audacity to hang off the horn at ME!

I'm not proud of the next move but he made me see red after risking my life and I slammed on the brakes and came to a stop. I was SO angry! and I still am.

Infact last time I saw that was when they changed a cross roads last year, the guy pulled into the bus stop and had a ruck outside mini in Slough trading estate. Went from a small beep to blood everywhere. Both as bad as each other. No chill. Some people just like the fight.

I'm not sure what that meant exactly, but it sounds fairly "gangsta".

Nothing gangster about it mate. They were tw@s and both needed a good battering which I believe they both gave each other. You gain nothing from fighting over such a small thing like cutting someone up. But some people are wired to fight over small things. It's a real shame

Why can't manufactures all use the same flipping method for measurement?!

One company are using SCFM, another uses nl/m. You can convert nl/m to CFM but there are too many unknowns to calculate SCFM from CFM.

I'm only facing this problem because the vacuum generator I'm wanting to buy a duplicate of doesn't appear to exist anymore so I'm trying to find an alternative.

FYI, for those of you whom are not of the Engineering background, if you wonder why newer stuff is crap, it's often because of this problem. That and the removal of lead from materials!

Its not just motorway lanes mate.... :@ The amount of people who dont seem to be able to drive around a bend on their own side of the road is madness.

They are obviously lazy or have no idea of how big their vehicle is, or just driving too fast for their skill set.... OR all three...... pisses me off.

I have noticed recently on roads I use a lot have had great big new signs put up to tell people the maximum speed for the bend!!! FFS... How much money wasted on this i cannot imagine... its not just one or two its loads.... :@

Right rant over ----- HAPPY FACE ON NOW (sun)

Corporation begins sending letters to 4.5 million pensioners across the country, a process expected to take at least two months

All news has a bias now as its funded by someone with a vested interest.

We have very little in the way of independent scrutiny of what goes on in the world.

I tried to arrange a call back from my doctor for my diabetic review, no luck, all the slots for today are full. And they can't arrange one for tomorrow, I have to call in to book it on the day between 8-9 am...

I WORK! I can't take a time out to call in that hour because I work for a living and my bosses tend to get pissy about doing personal stuff on company time, in the current climate I am very aware that I am easily replaced by a newbie on less money, and that would suit the company very nicely as they are skimping on pretty much everything they can to save money.

I share your pain. It took me 3 days to get a telephone appointment.

Anytime between 11 and 1. They called me just before 1. It wasn't my GP or my GP practice. I've been told I need to get a scan. Only my GP can book a scan. 2 days later I've still not been able to speak to my GP surgery to book another appointment.

Street is going in for it’s service tomorrow and I had arranged a couple of nice test rides while it was being done.

But the weather forecast is for torrential rain and strong winds. :@
