Car salesman have to be the laziest people alive.

None of them ever want to do there job and provide a customer with information. They seem to think their doing you a huge favour if you expect them to do their job and be helpful.

I dont find motorcycle sales staff are like this, but the muppets they put in car dealers are bone idle and largely thick in my recent experience.

When they are I just leave. There are plenty of cars for sale and I'm not jumping through hoops to spend cash.

I agree. I think it's rather disrespectful as we haven't even had Remembrance Sunday yet. I think it's completely wrong that Christmas seems to get priority

To be fair though, Christmas as we know it has been around for over 1600 years...3rd or 4th Century, something like that....Remembrance Day, Veteran's Day, etc., exactly 100 years

I see the point you are making being a religious holiday etc but that's not what it is anymore. Christmas is more about how much money can be made and hyping up kids for toys etc, we have turned it into a completely different holiday. Remembrance day may be a junior in all of this but at least we know what it's about, that hasn't been tarnished and still hits all of us of why we do it.

So I believe it should be Remembrance day then they can do what they like with Christmas after that

Unsure if that makes sense to anyone but I see where I am coming from!

Oh I get it, but I figured the issue was with Christmas adverts, and you can't really do "Remembrance Day Ads"...that would be a bit awkward to say the least.
I also think one is aimed squarely towards children, for the large part....and the other is more for adults.
Celebration vs, commemoration, etc.

Yea I think a Remembrance advert may very well be distasteful! Personally I believe all Christmas ads, signage, promo ends in supermarkets etc should be after Remembrance day. It's the least companies can do in my opinion

The big Christmas push here begins just before Thanksgiving....so almost exactly a month out.....that seems fairly reasonable to me.

Stupid arse cagers.

Special honours today go to the numpty who was beeping is horn at me. At the time I was on my side of road passing stationary cars, blocking him forcing his way passed parked cars on our side of the road.

Second arse was the occado van that parked on the pavement on the junction outside our village shop that's also double yellows. I count 3 offences there!

There where plenty more that didn't make the honours list.

C**ts who start answering before you've finished your question.

Happens all the time. If the tw@ts would listen they might be on the right page and able to give a relevant answer instead of the BS they want to tell you as they cant fooking listen (swear)

These wankers tend be on the end of every phone (gah)

What's that quote? There are two types of people in this world; those who listen and those who wait to speak.

The first type is a very rare breed indeed and the latter are more common than shandy drinkers are south of Birmingham (giggle)
