Driving home from work and some how ended up on some of my favourite biking roads

I may have drove quite briskly with a big grin across my boat race .......possibly

I've spent all day attempting to transfer my needed programs and files from my old desktop to my new one.

I have finally just got the last programme working after much swearing attempting to copy the database across and getting it to function properly.

I'm no computer expert but it rarely beats me.

Gone for a desktop with an SSD as well as an HDD. Feck me its quick to load.

SSD makes a BIG difference - more so than any other upgrade these days. Plus they are silent and you might be ok if you drop it

SSD is the saviour of the modern computing world. My 5 year old laptop (besides the dodgy battery) is still awesomely fast. I can just about do CAD on it and it was quicker than my gaming PC for video rendering too.

I'd rather be where you are I think. The office is empty today and I'm doing training courses while playing Sudoku and listening to music. Wish I'd have worked from home again today.

Might jet wash the patio today then take the kids for a bike ride, but plenty of chill time as well, my March time sheet had 304 hours on it

I've been using Swarfega Patio & Driveway cleaner, it's a gentle agent but quite effective. Safe for our porcelain slabs too. Enjoy the therapy of cleaning with a power tool!!


I'm currently trying to fill out a P87 form to claim back expenses for university over the last 5 years. I might also be able to claim back uniform at the same time. Every little helps at the moment.

First day of lockdown

Just took my dad for a blood test and a trip to adsa, well, that was the plan. They're queued all around the car park and out on to the road to get in.

We are not really desperate for anything.

I'm falling asleep at my desk. Tempted to go home at lunch again but I don't want to make a habit of it, I just wish I'd have worked from home today too.

Only 4 of us in and 1 has disappeared since the moment he got in this morning.

I'm getting cramp in my hand due to not having a mouse or SpaceBall.

I passed the Asda in Hull whilst working, and noticed that was the same.: Queues of people with empty trollys all about 2m apart & many with face masks on.
I dropped in myself after work, and there was an empty car park & no queues. There was also plenty of stock on the shelves (except they had run out of fresh unsliced Large Tiger Bloomers at the bakery, but that's often the case normally when I drop in after work).

Cleared the shed and got the summer furniture and barbecue out.

We have had mice in there so I set traps and the official result is,

Blade 6 Mice 0

Did my bit for the environment too, lobbed the dead mice over the fence so the foxes will eat well tonight

You could probably have BBQ'd the mice and had a queue of feckwits waiting to buy them

I thought about getting the BBQ out but there's only 2 of us so I may as well just use the grill

I got the deck chairs out the loft yesterday

What's in the garage to attract the mice?
