Australia Day here today. Normally it’s a bit of a busy day, in past have had big gatherings organised with BBQ’s and drinks etc.

But I’m off to work in 2 days, had the kids for 4 weeks of school holidays so think it’s just going to be a lazy one today.

Enjoy it, Kiwi! Have a Koala burger for me will ya!

Yesterday we went for a group dog walk - 40 spaniels in total! The Wife and I need to get out and it was great at clearing our heads.

This morning has been a job morning.. all the boring adult stuff. I've got to go buy a new pair of trousers for my interview and also clean my car. 1. because it's disgusting. 2. because it's my turn to drive the lift share this week.

Sat in Sheffield royal hallamshire waiting for a checkup, got here in plenty of time but they're running an hour and a half late. Hope the carpark takes cards...

It's giving me time to wonder about the job application which I have in with northern rail, will bring nationalised halt the recruitment process? I hope not.
