Outside the school I was chatting with some of the parents when I clocked who I thought was a teaching assistant. It turns out that the 5 foot 8 inch tall female is in the same class as Alex.
Blimey - she must be amazonian!

Bought Dan TDM tickets and a VIP meet and greet package for Byrons birthday.

Tickets for 3 shows in Sydney sold out in 5 mins and the VIP passes were gone in under 4 mins. Seems I was lucky to get any at all!

I'd put a lottery ticket on as well mate.

He'll love that. (The show, not the lottery ticket!)

Yeah he's stoked. He missed out last time cause I was at work, so it's lined up good this time. One of the reasons I shifted my roster around

It's all games Cav, he started with Minecraft walk thrus, hence TDM (the Diamond minecraft) but reviews and does walk thru's on all sorts of games and consoles now. His demographic seems to be 5-early teens, but in this day and age I'm sure his follower base includes older groups. He did a one show in Sydney earlier this year and due to demand has come back for a full Australian Tour. The guys is worth millions all thru' his YouTube channel.

The world has changed for pre-teens as it had for the rest of us. My two barely watch TV programming anymore, it's all YouTube and Netflix. Youtubers are like the new rockstars.

It's crazy how just playing a video game has made this kid rich... he basically got rich by being a bum. Fair play to him, he's obviously got a way of reaching out to the audience which works and it is just a case of finding that market.

In other news.. I'm currently recovering from what was an airplane flying, I suspect, 1 metre above the roof of our building. It just got louder and closer and I actually ended up ducking subconsciously. Genuinely a little shakey now as I thought it was going to crash into our building. I haven't even got life insurance yet!!

Well, the beauty of gaming is that it's interactive....not just for the player/game aspect, but also for the player-to-player interaction from anyone, anywhere in the World.
How that's going to work later in life is anyone's guess though...

He does indeed. He's clean (in language terms) so I know I can let the boy watch any of his videos without having to worry about their content.
Add that to the popularity of the things he does and his seemingly easy going nature and it's not hard to see why he's so popular.

It is hard though, to explain to my son why companies keep sending him free stuff whilst my son gets nothing! :D

Perhaps I should have asked your advice first ?? - I've just been out in the rear paddock splitting logs & stacking them in the logshed ready for winter.
My logsplitter is one of these traditional ones.:

Good cardio, I need a shower now as anyone who stands downwind of me before I do would attest. (blush)
