My first job was as an apprentice mechanic with Honda so I love a bit of VTEC induction noise

I got up, started on my Lego stormtrooper helmet, had breakfast, lay on the bed, had a 3 hour nap

And that right there is what boxing Day is all about IMO.Kwacky wrote:I got up, started on my Lego stormtrooper helmet, had breakfast, lay on the bed, had a 3 hour nap
Unfortunately my opinion counts for very little in this house, so we've been out for a family walk round the lake at dinton pastures.

A bit of car tinkering, re-fitting the standard radio which meant taking the dash out as some clever soul had cable tied the wires for the dash-cam and DAB aerial to the wiring loom so it didn't rattle when I fitted them.
Kept me busy for an hour or so.
Now just relaxing.

Having a bit of a downpour of rain right now, so I'm manning the flood-control barriers.....in other words the doors.

A run to the tip and Halfords for some car cleaning stuff and AAA batteries £8 for 30 is not too bad for alkaline batteries. And a phone holder, taking the double din with Android Auto out means I need to see my phone to use the maps, I used to just put it on a shelf out of the way.

Interesting how differently our minds can work.:
I saw ^ that lovely image of yours, and it made me recall the opening scenes of "The Fall & Rise of Reginald Perrin"

Making stuff as I'm really bored now.
New roof for the guinea pig hutch as the old one had rotted through, and a tea light holder out of an old fence post.
