I can't begin to understand blokes that hit Women - they aren't Men, they are some lower form of life.

Stew I hope your Daughter sees him for what he is and turns her life around, I can think of nothing worse than my family in trouble and I can't fix it for them. Fingers crossed he pegs it hospital.

Worked and then moved out! Well got the keys to my new place and started to deep clean it tonight.

Now working all weekend because my UK Manager is a nob and apparently he knows everything about everything and we know nothing. So a weekend that was suppose to be spent for a ride to Buxton and painting the place and sorting out bills etc Is now going to be spent all at work!!

We've all been to the cinema to watch Dr Peabody and Sherman. A nice cartoon for the kids and adults.

Now I'm busy transferring stuff over from the old laptop to the new.

That's not good. I know you've had problems with your back. Is there nothing to be done?

Cheers Kwacky. Had injections a few months back which have worked in the past but not this time. Tbh all of the treatments I have had are treating the symptoms rather than the condition. Got an appointment with my specialist next month so going to discuss a spinal fusion which is an option but something I have always been very scared off as obviously major surgery with risks and no guarantee of any improvement.

Headaches have never gone away but they did back off quite a lot. Until about two weeks ago when they've really kicked off. Thursday's was the best yet, one I call the "San Diego" as I had two mirrored headaches either side of my head, like the Chargers helmet.

Shoulder is alright but is always going to be weak.

Thanks for asking.

Blade, if it's any help, my father had spinal fusion (I think it was 4 vertebras) at the bottom of his back in 1976 when the operation was in its infancy. It was due to an industrial accident and he would likely have never walked again had he not had it done.

He has spent the last 40 years now climbing mountains, diving, triathlons, running marathons and other amazing stuff (he's 67 now) making sure the solution lasts :D he hasn't broken it yet (though he is a nutcase (wasntme) )

He has never had a bad back in that time since. He does have slightly less flexibility, but it's a small price to pay compared to the pain.

My brother in law is currently going through what you are at the moment with multiple spinal hernias. He's had the injections and the latest one is wearing off again, I suspect he will need the same.

Sounds like you got some great genes there Cookie.

Good on him too, better spending it enjoying life than leaving any of it to his wayward son. ;)
