That's after they had been sitting for about 10 mins in 30 deg heat. I was down the road, but the missus said they were about a 1/4 bigger than that.

Forecasted for a bigger storm this evening

Yep Rossgo, I've got a double garage with internal access, bikes get half and the good car gets the other. My ute lives outside, but I was down the road at the kids swim lessons with it and only got small hail where I was.

That's a relief I'm sure them sized stones would of made some damage on a precious bike. Surprising how much a difference weather can be only being a little distance away. Though the size of those stones look like they could knock a guy out!

I have clear roofing sheets in places over my decking and I was sure they would be smashed but they survived. The only damage we sustained were the garden plants. There been a fair bit of damage down in Sydney Metro in some places but overall everyones been pretty lucky. Hail storms are pretty common around here thru' summer, so a lot of stuff is constructed with that in mind. The solar installer did tell me the panels would handle a extreme hail storm, I just didn't quite believe him. :?

And to be fair, not all the hail was that size, maybe 10%, the rest were about marble size.

I've read about the hail in your area before.....me, I haven't seen hail in years, although I know we do get some big stuff up in the mountains.

Most guys don't.....studies have shown that many men in a shopping environment undergo stress levels that rival those of fighter pilots in combat......that's no joke either, I know I stress out like crazy when I go shopping, and I try to plan it so I'm in & out of there in as short a time as possible.

First day back and was sent to work by picking up a Christmas tree and decorations and talk about Christmas pressies - this will be left for the Sunday before Christmas! However was treated to a harvester so not all bad!

Went out for a little spin... brr its cold and the roads have very little traction. If it was a little drier it would have been lovely. Stopped for cake and a cuppa, clocked up 119 miles.

The weather looked today but it was cold.

I might go out for an hour tomorrow seeing as I won't be able to ride it for a week.

Just took the kids out for their first sunrise. Not ideal conditions but from the lookout we had a great blanket of cloud below us. My son gave up after a couple of pics on his iPod and got back in ute and listened to music. Highlight for him was the copper chick turning up in a highway car to snap the sunrise on her way to work. My daughter loved it and must have taken about 50 shots! For a 5 yr old her framing was pretty good!

It was nice having company for once too!
