Had a lousy day. Too much work, too many deadlines, too little time. And to cap it all the parcel i was hoping to arrive today, didn't.

Scrubbing a set of pirelli Rosso corsa Tyres in.
I'm on my third set and I love them. Just won pb mag road and track tyre test for second time in a row. Simply stunning tyres.

I'm not even bothering pretending today, instead just counting down the minutes

Am shattered today, it's mini Gees first day at "Senior school" today, he was nervous and couldn't sleep last night, so we didn't sleep. Eventually drifted off about 2.30am and I was awake again at 5.30. I am so tired. Going out for a 10mile cycle ride to see if that wakes me up later.

Re: What are you doing today ??
He'll be fine. My daughter had her fist day at secondary school this week. So far so good, although she is a bit pee'd off as she's the shortest. Both me and my brother were short at school. I started growing at about 15, my brother about 16/17. My brother is 6 foot 3. I'm the shortarse male of the family at 5 foot 11.

Re: What are you doing today ??
It's difficult telling kids that they'll be growing later on, my oldest lad was always the shortest in his class, I remember him asking me "Dad, do you think I'll ever find a girl my height?" , this was after a school concert when he was 15, I saw the girls in his class and they were all amazons.
I had to have "the talk" after that, telling him he would grow, and all the early sprouters he wanted to go out with were going to go to seed and be fat failures by the time they were 25.
I was proved right of course, he shot up to 6'2" before he was 17 and he saw "The Girl" from his class at 19 pushing a pram with two kids, looking correspondingly worn.
As parents, age takes away our hair, teeth, looks, fitness etc etc, and it only gives experience in return, but sometimes it can really be worth it.

Re: What are you doing today ??
I have sproglets, one at 4' 11 and one at 5' . They now think I lied when the school uniform I both them both is still too big (aged 25 and 30 respectively)
I'm 5'6 and there dad is 5'10 so they were bound to be shorties

Been out with my brother for a beer and a balti. Always nice to catch up, even if we do act like a pair of 8 year olds.
