Gave the car a good wash and polish with a coat of C2, the number of car park dings and scratches is maddening. It's a small and cheap car but still, why can't these apes be more bloody careful...

Who drives it, & why refer to them as apes.?

Everytime Deany hints at wanting a newer flashier cage, I point out all the dings & scratches that "just appear" with regularity on our old sillycar. When I explain that on an SLK each one would equate to £££ & she would become responsible for keeping it pristine, her persistence wanes for a while.

I drive it and never hit other cars, but often find fresh car park damage on the doors and bumpers. This is why I call them apes, because I have no idea who they are but can tell that they don't have my level of respect for other people's property.

I had it with a previous car, a friend of a friend slammed my back door into a wall in a carpark and couldn't give less of a damn. I haven't seen her again, thankfully. The entire door had to be painted after the dent was pulled out.

The fur trim needs special care, it's really soft and I don't want to harm the colour.

Lovely day today.

Took the family for a walk through a couple of fields just off the edge of the village. Not a person in sight, just some sheep with baby lambs and baby alpacas.

Spent the afternoon in the garden pottering while the kids played. Fixed nextdoor's fence that broke in the last storm. The kids just played on the trampoline and in the tent.

I could get used to this.

Oh well, back to Morrisons and shelf stacking and training tomorrow.

My insurance is due and we're looking at between £450-500. At least we only have one car now... and the tax is £370 cheaper !!

Heard a very rough sounding car this morning as I was doing a bit of gardening lots of blue smoke, it conked out so he freewheeled backwards against the kerb then it burst into flames.
Certainly a change to break the monotony of lockdown, even 2 of the firefighters were woman and one of them was lovely (h)

Got 2 MRI scans today, lower back and neck.

I quite like the scans weirdly, just hope the results are positive.
