Off for a night in the city with no kids for the last night of the Sydney Vivid Festival. Have been a few years and it’s always amazing. Took the kids in a couple weeks back but only got to see a small part of it as there was a limit to the walking we could do with 4 young kids in heavy crowds at night.

A nice early evening nap. I'm knackered. I've been really tired all week.

That's quite an amazing recovery mate, do take care of yourself though and don't push to hard (y)

We had a puppy party on Friday in our garden and onto the field at the back periodically. The garden easily accommodated table + 10 chairs plus 10 mad springer spaniels (all of whom were related), a golden retriever and about 25 people. Had the BBQ going too which was great.

Yesterday we spent relaxing with Elsie in her paddling pool, in the sun, drinking cider and wine.

Today I had a catchup with my mum and step dad over a lovely meal which my mum paid for as a celebration of my graduation :)

A puppy party? That's a new one.

It had better not have been a birthday party for a dog, that's all I can say.

Drove 2 hrs return to get fire bricks for the combustion heater. The local heater place was out of stock. I managed to find a wholesaler with the ones I needed. Well glad my local was out of stock. They normally charge me $20 a brick. I got 10 at the wholesaler for $36.30!!!!! They did say places that buy small loads get smashed with transport due to weight.

Was it worth it for the extra time it took vs. the old place..?

Ahhh you do math don’t you?

10 x $20 = $200 vs $36.30

What you do reckon?? :?

Go on, go postal.

It'll make a welcome distraction on the news from the Tory Leadership campaign and I can look after your ZX6R when you're inside.

2 hours driving for $163.70... yup!

Plus I couldn’t get them any closer for any price as I already mentioned the local place was out of stock. And as they protect the very expensive combustion heater from overheating damage it was well worth my time.
