Found my iPad

At Easter Jess and I went down to Melbourne. Jess has just given me a new iPad shed got for Apple Training (She’s her teleco shop’s Apple Expert).
So I took said iPad, and on the trip home left it in the seat back on the aircraft. I didn’t realise for over a week. I rang the airline and my only option was to leave a message. You’d get contacted only if your item was found.

So on my flight up to Brisbane I was told by a hostee to actually go to the baggage services when I got back to Sydney, and ask if they have it in lost property. She said iPads regularly get missed and generally end up at a different airport. But the lass at the desk came out with the only blue cover iPad and asked me to put in the screen lock password, whooola! It was my one!

Very happy camper, I was so dark on myself for losing it.

Oh, cool!

The TS search engine tells me that you're in luck, and will be able to watch The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo on the flight home again.
LOL forevermore!! (rolf)

So the cycling was up and down. Bearing in mind the kids have only been cycling for a couple of weeks, and they were both on new bikes.

The description of the trail was flat wife paths, with a little incline. Ideal for young families and new cyclists. I though this would be ideal. Well, the path was no wider that 3 foot at its widest, most of the time there was only one line at a tyre width. There where a couple of bloody big "inclines" and a fast down hill.

Both kids made it to the end, just. James moaned about every peddle turn. We had a play on the park after and then went for a road cycle when we got back home and it went much better.

On the happier side of the trails, while the kids where in the play park and the wife was recovering I took the bike back out on the intermediate trail. Now that's bloody good fun, I need some decent cardio and I may have just found where to get it.

Sadly I've only got time for work stuff. I'm unlikely to be home before 9pm as it is.

I need to take a case to trial so I can spend a few days in London :D

Just baked 2 dozen cupcakes. Stupid Aussie tradition that in primary school you take cupcakes in for your whole class on your birthday. So muggins here had to bake and ice them.

Once I get the kids into bed I’ll be wrapping birthday pressies.

Currently sat by the River Severn in Shrewsbury with a beer and afterwards going to Theatre Severn to see Hannah Peel with her blend of electronica and poetry.

It’s beautiful here at the moment. Bright sunshine and watching the fit babe rowers going past.

Today has been a good day.

The sun is shining the traffic was crap, but that didn't matter as the KTM made mincemeat of it. I've verbally been offered a contract extension for a new project, the manager asked for me specifically. I got really lost trying to find a country lane route home, and really enjoyed some lovely country lanes.

Not sure I could find them again though.

Got my result back for an assignment I submitted a few weeks back. I was flapping over this assignment because I had no idea what I was doing.

I got 70% and I'm thrilled with that! That's the minimum grade for a First and I was expecting low 60's.

Just got to wait for the results from my dissertation and exam now
