That's a bit rough.

I'm just sat on the train on the way back from London. That interview was most definitely an experience. But, so was sitting at the very top of the gherkin having a coffee.

To be honest I have no idea. I felt like I had been torn to shreds by the end of the interview.

I'll just have to wait and see, going to have to start hitting the phone next week though. Don't want to be out of work for too long.

Suffering with hayfever. I've managed to escape it for most of the year but it's kicked in today.

Fortunately mines not been too bad so far this year. I've been taking benadryl plus, which has added decongestant stuff, which really seems to be working at the moment.

I'm on the serious job hunt now, a week off has been nice but I need to get working again fairly soon. Unfortunately the contract market seems to have died on it's arse at the moment. Just spoken to an agent and she has said there are lots of people looking and not many jobs about.

Hoping to collect my Mother from Hospital (she's doing her nut in there), and taking the jacket from my two piece to be repaired as some stitching has come away from inside a zip vent. Oh and #1 son is popping over this evening to say hello and hopefully sort out his track day booking I owe him.

Hope you survive Kwacky, and hope you get to pick up your mum Deegee.

I am spending the day feeling really fed up at work, fed up with my boss just assuming I'm really stupid, and to be honest after a while I just gave up and started agreeing with what they said and essentially kept my mouth shut but its really bugging me today and its taking a lot of will power to not tell them to shove it all.
Even little things like a on the radio they were talking about how sensitive crocodiles feet are to touch which led to a discussion in the office about how they know that. I said will They can tell from the amount of nerves clustered in an area and also look at brain response, quite a sensible answer I thought, but no apparently im wrong, although she couldnt come up with a different answer, small and nothing really but im just fed up atm and it is really bugging me. Get this sort of stuff all the time.

Jacket fixed while I waited - no charge (did buy a couple of minor things as well mind), Mum picked up from Hospital despite the torpor of the Doctors in charge and big Son has just left after demolishing a chunk of the wee buns Mrs Gee had made for the kids at school tomorrow. He told me tonight that he's lost 90% of his sense of smell, a bit of an issue for someone that runs the kitchen of a busy gastro pub. Fingers crossed the ENT dept can sort it for him...

Today I went to work for the purposes of doing actual work (as opposed to seeing the company doctor) for the first time in about 4 months. It was "only" doing some interview, but it went well an d I'm going in again tomorrow to do some more. I'm still hoping to go back in August, so this was a very encouraging first step...bloody knackered now though! :D
