Gutted for you St Marks, but as others have said, you did everything you could do, and professionals with the right equipment couldn’t do any better. I didn’t read one bit that indicated you failed. Quite the opposite, could you imagine how much more horrible that would have been for Rozz if she was alone?

I’ll have a drink and toast for Malcolm. You’ve given me some great advice and insights over the years and seems Malcolm may have had some credit in fostering that wisdom.

That is the way of things. Life is not permanent. For anyone, rich or poor.

Just to add one point here for everyone, find out where your nearest public access defibrillator is. We have one which is a 2 minute run from the house at the local school. If you or anyone else ever needs it, that bit of knowledge may help to save someones life.

You don't need to be an expert to operate it as once you have been given access to it, you will be talked through how to operate it and it is very simple.

Good call Duke, and although I’ve been trained in them a number of times they really are idiot proof and require no previous knowledge.

(y) Totally agree with you. We actually had one installed last year at the village hall, only about a mile from my doorstep.

Thing is, his heart had not stopped when I called 999. He was in pain, and it seemed to me to obviously a heart attack. However his carotid pulse, whilst weak, seemed steady & even.
His heart didn't stop until the paramedics (eventually) put him into the ambulance. That was at least 3/4 hour after they first arrived. When that happened & they commenced CPR I did ask if they needed a defrib' & was informed curtly that they had everything they needed on board.
With hindsight, perhaps I should have hightailed it down to the village hall as soon as I realised what I thought was happening to him.
Great gift, hindsight. :(

It is that mate, but you cant live on if's and but's.... As I was told recently, History is the past and gone, the future is just that, so who knows, the Now is where it is at and its now that you can think about, help and support for you and all around you is the now.

Depending on what was happening with his heart a defib may not of helped. They won’t restart a stopped heart, only return a heart to a functional rhythm if it’s gone out of whack but still has muscle activity.

He didn’t have a bleed you failed to stop, you didn’t move a paitent thy should have been immobilised, you didn’t fail to clear a blockage that caused him to stop breathing. Those are things you have control over and I’m sure would’ve been more than capable of managing.

His ticker was rooted, he was alive when you handed over to more qualified medical personnel. They had a defib and didn’t use it, probably because they had assertined it was of no help.

I know it’s easy to say from way over here but you did all you could and looked after your secondary paitent and probably prevented her going into a bad shock if she’s dealt with it alone.

Going through someone's mobile phone history.

It's probably best not to search "stepmom and son" on pornhub when you're 17 and living with your dad's wife :D :D :D

It's needed for the case. We're entitled to get full details off mobile phones. So that's calls, texts, files, photos, videos, location and internet search history.

If your Android then it should be in settings, you can usually search settings.

If your Apple then it already is I think.
