Ooof. That's not fun.

Putting the Fiancé's car back together for it's MOT today. I'm hoping to get some of the lights wired into the workshop tonight too so I can continue working in the evenings.

Drove for the first time post surgery!!

Driving like a complete nana as I feel every bump and jolt but good to get out of the house and feel like a human.

Went shopping and bought the latest Apple TV, I had a gen2 and I was getting annoyed with it while couch dwelling.

Well not the exact outcome I wanted to hear today, basically the bones still have not healed enough to warrant the plate being removed even though one side is loose !!. I have been put on the list for the op but see the surgeon again in 6 weeks,by then the wait for the op wont be too long ( hopefully ), im amazed I am where I am with this since it happened last April !!

Sadly the NHS are very slow with fractures. I was told I had to wait 13 weeks before they would consider doing anything else with my arm. I gave them a few weeks. Even though it was clear the bones weren't connecting they still wanted to wait the full 13 weeks. Then they would have make their minds up, then put me on a list. I could have been sitting around for 6 months with a broken arm.

I went private the next week. Booked an appointment Wednesday morning. Got a call Wednesday afternoon with my options, had the operation the following week.

I’m not slagging off the NHS I know they are under great pressure but going forward I will be going private.

What have you got mate,? -Is this one of those XLWB type things that have been made as a people carrier (for you to transport your whole tribe at once ) ??
Close mate, it's a six seater crew cab Transit. Three in the front, three in the middle and a smallish separate van bit with a bulkhead.

Good day today. Boarded the loft which is something I've wanted to do since I got here and put a battery in one of my watches.

The battery might sound a trival thing but again something I've meant to do for years and never got round to it. I've been paying a Swiss Certified Watch Shop 60 quid roughly every 2 years to put a £1 battery in my Omega and that's gone on for over 20 years. Finally invested in some Horology tools and now I can do mine and the wife's watches myself (y) might still charge the wife 60 notes though (happy) seeing as she has a few decent watches I could quickly make the money back I invested in tools (lol)

Sorry to hear this is dragging on for you mate, I fully appreciate how that feels. Seems like the public vs private situation is similar to here. I went private and it’s been not too bad. If I went public I’d probably still be waiting for a neurosurgeon appointment.

Attempting to recover after another busy weekend and getting no further with Uni work :(

On the bright side, I've wired my lights into the workshop temporarily; wired the lights into an RCD then fitted a plug for plugging into my extension lead. I don't have the SWA buried yet.

I've also siliconed the inside of the window before heading off to prepare my old Fiesta for Mr Scrappy

Well...so far today I've managed to help save an overdosing heroin addict from dying, had a cup of coffee, a cigarette, and a long pause for thought....and now I think I'm just about ready for some breakfast.
