Who's the idiot.. me!

It's specifically £500.. not just a quantity and not 100.

Sorry cookie, wasn't exactly trying to be smart but definitely got it wrong.

Hope all your family are doing as well as can be expected though

It’s from when the British occupied India and the 500 rupee note had a monkey on it. The civilians converted the term to sterling once backnin civi life.

Thank you all. Not an easy day today, Mrs C did struggle a lot today. Glad it's over tbh.

A celebration as well as sadness today. At 99 she had certainly lived a life, including working in the Admiralty during the war, decoding and passing messages to battle groups. Amazing.

She certainly didnt suffer fools and i liked that. She was however quite racist too :D (blush) She was from another generation thats for sure.

wasting an hour of my time and diesel driving to and from a meeting that I could have easily (and have) had over the phone but I think the guy really wanted me to go to his house just to show it off, valued at £2.5m, very nice house too, but a complete waste of my time. Laughing at the things my son comes out with. He's been on a 3 day residential trip with school, needless to say we where a tad worried..

They had lots of activities layed on both fun and educational, ending with an Edwardian banquet yesterday evening where they all dressed up etc .

He got home this afternoon and the wife and him what was his favourite part. His response.. "the coco-pops"

Glad he had a good trip away, fully appreciate the feelings of worry you would have had.

Wasted a day. Tried on 3 occasions to sit down and do Uni work... haven't managed a single word.

I also feel sick after eating a KFC and need to get hold of our bridesmaid because she wants help organising the Hen Do.

Right about now I wish I could own Ride 3 to attempt to ride a motorcycle for the first time in 2 years haha

Been to Basingstoke with my misses and her sis to buy Christmas gifts. We managed to buy everything! All done within the day.

Also picked up series 9 and 10 of Red Dwarf (as an early Christmas pressie to myself) and a bar of choc from Hotel Chocolate.

Tonight off to to my misses mum's for her mums birthday. So we have deice3d to buy in a Chinese.
