I tried to be healthy and did some chicken fillets.

Then I rolled them in breadcrumbs and spices.

Fried them

Served them as burgers with bacon and cheese

Oh well, I tried to be good.

Had my lad home with me yesterday and he wanted to have sushi for lunch. So we did.

Unfortunately some part of that banquet didn’t agree with me and I’ve been up since 1 am (now 1 pm) with Delhi Belly.

He’s fine, luckily he didn’t inherit his father’s weak digestive system.

Veg soup followed by slow braised ox cheeks with mustard mash and roasted veg, jeez, there must have been a half a kilo of meat on the plate, but you’ll be glad to know I surrounded it, cut off it’s line of retreat and after a protracted battle have beaten it soundly.

I had some lovely biryani-style home made curry tonight.. I do prefer a saucy curry but this taste amazing and was a nice change. Plus it stops me mopping up the sauce with bread
