MiniGee and myself nipped into town for a few things, so we had breakfast whilst we were there - full English for him and Eggs Royale (Benedict with smoked salmon instead of ham) for me. Excellent coffee as well. 8)

Roast chicken etc, it's been rubbish weather, so Mrs Gee felt it warranted a midweek roast. I'm all for eating properly. ;)

just got back from the pub after having chicken with leek and stilton. was good! gotta love working away and eating out!

No, it was some tasteless spice blend she's found, she can't eat chillis in any form, so has tried this mix as an alternative, but tbh it's a failure from my POV as I like a decent kick of heat and flavour. I had to drown it in hot salsa and pickled chillis to get some flavour going.
Fwiw I like Guacamole (green sauce), but made with fresh avocado, chilli and lime, not the stuff out of a bottle that is texture and taste free.
