Tesco sell most of the stuff you would need over here so might be worth a punt. Think you guys call coriander cilantro.

I buy all my spices from local Indian or Pakistani supermarkets in bulk at a hundredth if the cost. Literally costs peanuts.

I'm due a shop soon, could send you a parcel. If you like experimenting with food, curry is where it's at.

Not sure what sort of food you like, but the North Indian stuff tends to be the more typical "curry" and the stuff from the south more tropical.

It's all nice in my book.

Beef brisket. I think I was supposed to leave some, but that would have been rude.

I'm an official hero!!.....managed to pull off a great salad, an even better soup, and a remarkably mediocre set of lamb cutlets....but overall went very well. People aren't that familiar with OXO over here, and it's perfect in soup.

I do like making soups. There's something satisfying about eating homemade soup when it's cold out.

Very much so, love a bowl of steaming soup and fresh baked bread on a cold evening, Mrs Gee does a very good Leek & Potato and my French Onion is pretty good too. Right that's settled, soup it is on Saturday evening. :P

Indeed......mine is usually just OXO and some corn, peas, and onion or sommit like that....I love it piping hot!!

I'm starting to move away from my old faves like clam chowder as I become more vegetarian-ish.
My salads are always simple as hell....lettuce, tomatoes, and maybe one other thing.....been making those on a daily basis for about 20 years, so they may be simple, but they work.....oh, and a bit of parmesan...adds texture.

Chicken tikka kebab on nan, followed by a sainsburys Belgian chocolate pudding. Not that healthy but been doing hard graft outside most of the day and just took the kids swimming so ive burned the calories in advance, haha.

Bollocks!! Blade is right.....chip shop chips are the best.

But wait....straight cut or crinkly??

I like crinkly....more grippage for the gravy.

Gravy does not belong on chips! Neither does mayonnaise, or curry sauce, or tomato ketchup, or anything else other than malt vinegar or salt. It's just needless abuse of good food otherwise.

Do I sense some incoming? (giggle)
