There was a Macmillan coffee morning at Mrs Gees school yesterday, it's a lot of women gassing and eating cake thinly disguised as a fund raiser I think. Good cause though, they helped loads with my Dad.

Beef stew with dumplings and mashed potato. Winter is here in Buxton.

BM, is it a stew or a casserole if you make it in a slow cooker?

This week has not been healthy at all.. With the late shifts going on I've had 3 take aways, indian, chineese, and fish and chips.. I feel really fat at the moment so looking forward to next week when I can get out for a run.

Very little. I've been having stomach cramps for a couple of days. So far today I've had 2 bowls of porridge.

We've got a gammon joint this evening, it's in the oven now and smells wonderful, not sure that helps your poorly stomach Kwacky, but it's going to do wonders for mine. :)

A calzone/pasty made from leftover pizza dough and beef stew, with a bit of stilton in it. Fecking genius, if I do say so myself. Bloody lovely!
