Lots of olives, salami and cheese, then a big paella brought to the table in the pan for everyone to dive into. Accompanied by an instantly forgettable bottle of something and then a great bottle of Chianti. Feeling very Mediterranean last night.

Fred Flintstones rib of beef - and it was utterly sublime, the weather obliged with thunder etc and a good portion of rain, somehow a traditional British roast tastes better if the weather outside is doing its worst. :D

Everything. Ridiculously hungry today, hoovered up a roast dinner tonight, then attacked the fridge and the choccy box in that order. Still hungry now, but common sense has prevailed.

Without a doubt. Organic or proper free range meat is ten times tastier than the supermarket crap.

I used to enjoy owning an allotment, but I never really had the time for it. Growing your own is rewarding and tastes so much better. Plus you know there's no crap added to it.
