He was a nasty piece of work and didn't deserve to walk this earth.

But who gives the right for one country to go into another to kill someone?

I'm sure he would have been a man of peace if he had issues with a bone in his foot.

I'm just going to presume you've deliberately misread that to carry on the argument.

Oh...well in that context, when the person in question poses a "clear & present danger to the US" or some other legal jargon. Oliver Wendell Holmes put that into law....I think(????).

Killing leaders does nothing good from what I can tell during my lifetime.. Iraq was a huge disaster due to fake WMDs resulting in the death of the leader who, while ruthless, actually kept order in the country and had some level of control over the Taliban.

But what do we English know eh?

No one on here has stated that, at least partially because the only evidence available to us would be hearsay.
I personally take a very reserved view of such embellishments. ;)

It's not really "hearsay" though, is it? It's first-hand knowledge from the troops on the ground that carried out the operation.
Hearsay would come from a third party & be unverified.

Just because someone doesn't like the truth doesn't make it a lie.

It's just like playing chess with a pigeon. At some point it's going to knock all the pieces over, shit on the board and then strut around like it won!

Of the major news corporations, I'd say most of them are trying their best & do a fairly decent job of it, most of the time.
