This could have happened to anyone

A British man has been arrested in Spain after being accused of a fatal attack on a German who was filming his daughter in a restaurant.

The Civil Guard said 40-year-old Kainth Devinder attacked Sandro Rottman after he spotted him filming his daughter with a tablet device in the port of Sotogrande in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A source from the Civil Guard told the AFP news agency: "The girl's father got up and went to the table where the victim was.

"He took the tablet off him, saw that there were recordings of his daughter, and that was when the attack took place."

Police confirmed that the victim 'had been arrested a few days earlier for possession of child pornography'.

I cant speak for anyone else but I am sure that in the same situation, I would have likely done exactly the same, hopefully without the outcome of the other man dying.

Crap situation, and as Rob said, I would've reacted similarly. It's your natural instinct to protect and defend your kids. And it seems with good cause in this case given his previous record. I really feel for the father and his family, poor buggar.

Being known and being convicted of a crime are different.

By all accounts he was picked up a few weeks before.

It sounds like a single punch killed him.
