Flowers.....?

Don't quite know what to say...me lass just bought me some roses...never had someone give me flowers before.....hang on...she better not have plundered them out of my rose garden!!

Hold that thought.....I of course was referring to my neighbor's rose garden...not mine, 'cos I don't have one, and am not enough of a softie to admit to liking poncy stuff like roses.

I don't even understand why my girlfriend likes flowers she's constantly banging on about me getting her some. I usually only get them for her for birthday or something like that. I don't understand all they do is die in days

I buy my wife flowers on a completely andom basis for no other reason than just to show her I reckon she's still alright However I would never dream of buying a bloke flowers and if bought any of my mates flowers I dont think they would still be my mates

If I received flowers from a bloke I would think something was seriously wrong.

Probably not PC and I realise I'm a dinosaur but buying men flowers is like buying women real ale or cigars.

Some things are for woman and some are for men imo. Were different sexes and nothing wrong in having different likes and dislikes however if there are woman who like real ale and cigars and blokes who like flowers that's fine..............

Yup gay as. My house had white roses in the front garden when I bought it. Pulled them all out and planted cordilines, yukkas, argaves and other drought tolerant, low maintenance varieties. We are on tank water, so if it doesn't rain, they don't get water. If they don't like it, they die and get replaced with something that does. Mans gardening Darren

I'm also with Blade on the flowers. I had a ex that sent them to me for my birthday at work (while in the airforce) I had to give her a serious council I appreciated the thought but the action cost me a month of ribbing at work.
