Weekend plans

Post by Kwacky »

So what's everyone up to?

Nothing tonight.

Saturday I've got some shopping to do and need to visit my dad as it's his birthday today.

Sunday Alex is fighting in Worcester so we'll be there. Sunday evening is child free so wifey and I are going out for something to eat and a few beers.

Monday is a day off so we're doing Christmas shopping (sweat)

I shall spend the majority of the weekend playing with my new camera and flash unit , then on sunday I'm back to the NEC for some more Motorcycle Live this time I'll be doing something a little bit out of the ordinary - for me anyway .

No plans for tonight.
Saturday - bit of tidying up, my sis is coming over to drop some stuff over and have a natter and then I'm off to throw kids around down the front at the Mastodon gig at the Academy! 8)
Sunday depends on how broken I am after Saturday night!

Tonight, drinking wine.. No reason, just because...
Tomorrow, day with the kids and then an evening out with Mrs Nutz. First time in ages, going to a really nice place locally.
Sunday, no idea...

With the weather looking up, I might try and get the bike out for a quick spin round the local area and then give it a clean.

Saturday yard work, Sunday christmas BBQ. Since I'll be offshore for Christmas we are having a little family get together and I'll give my kids an early pressie.

Sat. Yikes!!.....I lucked into an opening slot at Brea Improv.....Fri. Sat. is when the pros do their paying gigs, and someone dropped out with no one to cover.
This is a real comedy club....instead of playing to 30-60 people, there could be 200 at this place, and on a Sat. when expectations are high.....I'm bloody terrified!!
Everyone should try it....six months ago I could never have imagined doing this, and now people introduce me to others as "This is Darren, he's a comedian"....I don't know how that happened??
I don't think I'm funny, except maybe to look at, but the odd accent seems to work in my favor...that, and the fact that I always try to put a twist on the end. Anyway, I'm just ranting right now, the nerves are kicking in.

Sun. Either celebrating a good slot, or spend my day contemplating a new vocation.....beer will be included either way.

Went to Benidorm for a stag weekend... obviously being a stag weekend that's as much as I can say.
However I would say I have been scarred for life after watching a magic act with Sticky Vicky..... (puke) (sweat) (ooerrmrs) (shocked) (shocked) (shocked) (facepalm)
