Is your heating on yet ?

Post by Spudda »

Its getting close ....

Not put ours on yet but the Fun Adjuster keeps threatening it.

Must admit I'm sat here with a hoodie on but refuse to put the heating on (doh)

Had it on a couple of times this weekend. Not hot, just 19 degrees to keep the chill off.

Turned on the gas logs for a brief burn as it was 14C in the man room when I got home from work

No idea as not at home so its up to the missus and kids but I would imagine so and not bothered as thr way I see it you need to be comfortable at home. I would imagine delaying the switch on will save you something like £20-40 a year so just not worth it IMO.

The heating isn't on - yet. I'm definitely of the "just put a woolly on" type, but unfortunately Mrs Gee is exactly the opposite and likes the house warm to hot, so I suspect it'll be on before next weekend at some point sadly.

I leave my heating on all year, but with the stat set to 15c. Saves me a small fortune as I'm not constantly heating and cooling the thermal mass of the house.

Ours is set at the same during winter. Minimum of 15 max of 20. My bills are pretty low so it must work.

Came close to putting it on last night as my bedroom was pretty cold as I don't have any curtains or blinds in yet. I just chucked another duvet on though and was fine. Looking at the weather forecast it may go on this week on low.

Mine is not on yet, but I'm getting increasingly pressured to do so.

Just put a jumper on, it's Autumn after all.

The Monsoon normally marks the end of the summer, not sure it's meant to be this cold though....

Was feeling a chill on Saturday night and as Brother and his Mrs were here I turned it on. Wii probably turn it off until November now.

The thermostat went up from 15 to 19 this morning. I should have got out of bed 15 mins ago but its too chilly.

I'm another who just leaves the thermostat at 15 all year and only ups it when needed.
