Weekend Plans

Post by Kwacky »

Anyone doing anything?

We're on hold this weekend as my father-in-law isn't very well. He's been in and out of hospital twice this week. They keep sending him home telling him he needs more examinations and tests and they'll call him. Why can't they do it all in one go? Poor bloke is in a lot of pain and has lost loads of weight.

Went through this with my mother earlier this year, we both came away realising there are a colossal amount of inept "Doctors" that cannot make a decision and are specialising in patronisation. Bring on the leeches.

He had a CT scan yesterday. They found some dark areas. Come back next week for more tests to see what they are. It could be stones, it could be tumours. Great. He worries enough as it is.

Fingers crossed its nothing serious, the lads other half went in to have her gall bladder removed a few months back and she's only 23, she was in excruciating pain every time she ate, same thing where there were shadows showing on the images, turned out there was "sludge" in the gall bladder. She's 100% now and can eat what she like again.

All the best with your Father in law kwacky!

I have got to help out at the little ones school fete tomorrow - if the weather holds up it should be a decent day.

Sunday I am off to the Invictus Games clsoing ceremony to see the Foo Fighters (rock) . There are other acts on throughout the day but I am not overly fussed about seeing those

Monday I will wake up with a hangover, a thumping head and have to be at home as we are having our bathroom ripped out and new one put in - 2 weeks of grief coming right up!! (facepalm)

Sorry to hear about father in law.

Finally at a hotel with wifi :)

We've joined the boys on their trip to Italy. Stayed in Germany Weds night, Lake Como last night and now arrived in Cattolica, near the circuit for MotoGP all weekend! :)

I tried the hastings run one year and it was crap.. All the roads where clogged with people riding like idots and police at every bridge. I peeled off the main roads and got properly lost, then nearly run out of fuel. I've had much more fun on any of the tankslap rideouts I've been on.

Not sure whats going on this weekend, which is quite nice. MIght get out on the bike, might not.. Might do something, might not..

Did enjoy my thai tonight though, feeling proper stuffed now.

Tonight I'm sitting in a bar having a proper Italian cappuccino and a glass of Jack chewing the fat with a couple of friends,
Tomorrow I'm off to watch live motogp pole
Sunday I'm watching live motogp
I get knocked down but i get up again.

Done Brighton Ace cafe run a few times, as said already a pain in the ride down, police everywhere, get to Brighton and you can't park, huge traffics issues (even on a bike) can't move.... Police down there treat you like they don't want you around at all!!! Breakfast or lunch a real pain getting some, usual rip off prices on everything else.

Saying that it is good to see once in a while, but I would rather head the other way for a more relaxed ride out ha ha

Sitting in the Rossi Fan Club grandstand in glorious Italian sunshine watching the best riders in the world do their stuff with some good mates and maybe a few beers as would be rude not too.

Then I fancy a dip in the sea or pool followed by some hot Italian lady watching and another beer before getting ready for a lovely steak tea and some partying down San Marino town.

Probably do the same tomorrow as well (rolf)
