Routes and cake section

Post by D6Nutz »

I really should look at this more often, and I really should stop riding sometimes...

I've just seen bb41's post for the waterfront cafe.. I hate to think of the number of times I've ridden past that place and thought it was just industrial units in there.. I'm going to have to stop there now next time I'm passing, it looks like it might have the edge over the H cafe..

The H cafe is rank, I don't even call in for tea now as even that's dreadful.

The waterfront is a lovely place right on the rivers edge , bikes more than welcome and food is good although obviously a bit pricier than the H, but then it is edible.

I quite often head over for breakfast especially in spring when it's not so busy. As you can imagine in summer although they have a big terrace it gets a bit rammed

Use H's to meet sometimes, never eat there, the waterfront cafe is class, good food and a nice place to chill. I even stopped there after doing some work at RAF Benson for lunch :)

Okeedokey..... I will plan a route, what would be best for people Sat or Sun.... I would look at a Stow meeting point - Then some lovely roads heading south, stop at the waterfront and then some nice roads back towards Stow for last knocking's for some teatime cake and a drink.

How does that sound.?

This Sunday?

This is what I am thinking of. It would not let me add any more markers, but after the red ballon it would be cross country back towards Burford and then on to Stow. Likely to be a full day like before, with a final knockings at Lucy's. This is all based on a decent weather of course. (sun)

I would assume if we get away from Lucy's around 10.30 - 10.45 I would think we would be down at the waterfront around 1ish.
I have posed up on 675 as well to see if anyone fancies it. If its a poor turnout or crap weather the routes there so we can do it another day, when Nutz is free.

Sorry Frankie, I thought I said I was in.

No worries though. Do you still want to go out on Sunday? If not I'll find something to do :)
