New laptops and monitors at work. Let's hope it's relatively pain free.

To answer your question I think I've seen 2 with the leather dash. It's a £1600 option which is ridiculous so not many people spec it I assume.

Appreciate the interest buddy (y)
Been working hence late replies. Jeez £1600 optional extra, yea I can see people not adding that which is good as that means the ones that do have had value added to it. Nice I bet its lovely and a hoot to drive. Spring/ summer will be here soon so you can go and tear up the roads for a blat soon!

I hope that you and your family are okay Kiwi, that looks like a nightmare situation to be in.

Today I am mostly coughing my ring out, 2 weeks of this and I've just about started to shift it, so today I am off to pick up a planer to shave the living room doors at may parents house, since they had a new carpet the doors drag on it and it's not bedding in like the carpet fitters told them it would. I have never used such a tool before so it should be fun... If it stops raining for more than 5 minutes since I will have to do it outside!

Masking tape around the ends of the door base.
Always work from the outside towards the middle.
Remember you can always take more off if you've got it wrong, but even the best joiner can't plane it back on.!

Pull the hinge-pins and set the door down with the two hinge-halves next to each other...it'll give you a good idea of how much to trim off the BOTTOM of the door.
(I've seen nimrods take the door outside & trim the top!! Lolz!!!!)

I had to look her up.
She looks like she's "tasted life", as it were.

This is the big one close to me, it’s on the move. Burnt out a few small settlements and a school so far. Heavy winds last night, those small patches to the east were spot ignitions from wind tossed burning embers. Current winds are favourable for my place atm but this bugger is going to be burning for a while. There’s a fair chance it could cause us grief at some stage.

At least you'll be home i suppose. Does the terrain around your house allow you to defend against the fire or are there lots of trees close by and there is bugger all you can do?

Trying my best to keep my head down as it's rumoured redundancies are coming to my site next week. It's made very difficult when your PC is in the hands of an overseas IT company because of some issues. I've spent nearly a week watching him try to fix it by repeating the exact same steps. I did what he was trying to achieve after an hour of googling.

I planed a couple of doors, washed/waxed/ACF-50'd the bike and checked the tyre pressures on the bike and car. Then got a not-so-nice Email from the rail company which I had applied to saying that I would not be offered an interview and that no feedback could be provided, that bad eh?

So my next few days off will include job hunting as the forecast includes more heavy rain.

My property has two parts, front part is the house with a few trees and bushes, then the back part which is a small gully full of 20-30m gums and turpentine trees. It is part of a bush belt directly behind all the properties on my side of the road. So if that goes up would be slim chance of saving anything. The area I live in is sandwiched between the Blue Mountains National Park and Woolimei Nation Park (were the Fire is). I have a good fire pump and fire fighting equipment and have stayed before during an evacuation but if it comes knocking this time I’m not sure I’d stay and fight.

And although I’m ‘home’ Jess and I are off today for 3 nights up in Newcastle (3hrs away) and then I’m up to Brisbane for two days for Physio. There’s only two days of light northerly winds in that time so it shouldn’t get too close while I’m away.

Having a coffee while I’m waiting for Volvo to open as the XC60 is having its first service, it’s virtually snowing in Bristol this morning a bit sleety.

There's 2-3 inches on the hills surrounding my workplace (not too far from Bristol).

I was driving through snow on my way in but the sheer volume of water means it won't settle.

M5 southbound was aquaplane central this morning

Started the drive into work and soon realised I was knackered and struggling to concentrate, so I came home and phoned in sick.
