Considering getting Datatag on my car. Have it on the bike anyone know if it's worth it on a car insurance wise?

I'd be surprised if you got any money off insurance for having it. I don't think most even offer discount for a tracker.

That's a shame. I may still find out for my insurers. Just wondering if anyone had any experience with it to be honest

Fwiw I've got Datatag on a bike (my Rs250 ). As Andy said, these days I don't think it really counts for anything I'm afraid.
I personally would certainly be checking for any available discount with insurance companies before I invested.

Cheers @StMarks. I suppose it's the world we live in now, we can't ak.top.much of insurance companies o suppose because so.many people take the piss out of it (false claims and nicked vehicles etc)

Had my car insurance renewal come through the other week, today was the day I had to moan about it! By doing so it knocked off 80quid. Just goes to show insurance quotes aren't always the best they can offer!

Fwiw I almost never stay with the same company for more than the year. Without exception I have always found it cheaper elsewhere except 2015 when (for some unknown reason) Aviva's renewal came in cheaper than any meerkat comparison companies could trawl up.

Taking the kids to dinner at the local pub as I completely failed at making my homemade meatballs and it turned in to a stodgy screwed up bolognese, and as I was busy dealing with that I over cooked the pasta.

Kids didn’t seem to mind at all.

Oh very quickly my insurance (Admiral) do not recognise Datatag as a security feature so no discount for that for cars

Feeling pretty shattered right now, had a great day at my Niece in Laws wedding in Norfolk yesterday, marred only by my MiL measuring her length whilst walking into the B&B at the end of the night, fortunately she was only bruised, but turning up at breakfast with a black eye made for interesting looks from the proprietors!

However everything must be paid for and I’m paying the price for working hard and playing harder, a good nights kip tonight is definitely required. (Btw on holiday this week, so no early mornings for me!)

The day started too bloody early with a 04:15 call from work asking if I wanted to come in and do some overtime, I reminded them that I had booked the day off for a consultants checkup over at Sheffield and then failed to get back to sleep.
I set off at 07:20 and only just made my 09:00 appointment, 27 miles! I love city traffic in the car.

After that it took 35 minuets to get home again, packed up some bits that I had sold online and dropped them in at the post office, got reamed £12 to post a wiper blade and arm because the box was too long to be a medium parcel.

Next job was to dig out my damaged winter wheel and take that for stripping and re-coating (Powder coat),

Next, I might wash the car or have a netflix session.
