Matty Laws Racing - Return of the Blog

Post by fawbish »

Hey guys,

Matty has asked me to post this on here, as he wants to make sure he keeps his online presence up with you guys! He'll be back on here soon. Matty doesn't tend to get a lot of time to keep up with online stuff, he is working a lot of overtime, and works his weekends usually all weekend to afford to race and repair his bike this year. I however tend to be more online based (read: I don't work as hard as I should in the office.)

A note to say thankyou to Nige and Di, Kwacky, Jack, Spudda, Simon, Paul and all of you (Matty knows you all better than me ;) ) for the hospitality again, and of course the help you've provided to allow Matty to race again. Great to see you doing well and taking names Nige, and Paul is just ridiculously quick.

We are currently (tomorrow night) about to drop the zx6's engine out, and get her patched up and repaired. After that, it's off to the dyno with James (Adam Sheltons mechanic) where the fuelling will be altered to get the most out of the stock engine. Once we have that out of the way, we will see what can be afforded (sweet f*ck all!) in terms of suspension, as this is what was holding Matty back the most at donington. We have old and underspecced suspension unfortunately.

So following all this, we can give anyone that wants to read it (don't know who would really! I just babble on!) the return of the Matty Laws Racing blog. It's in a new format, and I plan to keep it updated as we go along. We also now have Twitter, YouTube accounts set up, which can all be accessed via the blog.

http://mattylawsracing.wordpress.com/

Matty Laws Racing also has a racing app, which can be found on the Apple app store! It's a nice simple app that keeps you up to date with our FB updates on the move. We will soon be adding Sponsorship sections for links to peoples websites etc. Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Thanks for reading, and I'll get myself on here more often to take the piss out of Matty!

Cheers. We were a bit rusty on the Donny weekend, and with all that went down, it felt a little more adult than we usually like to keep things. Hopefully as we attend a few more rounds this year we can get back the same buzz that the PITty crew currently have! We need to get Matty back out there and at the sharp end!

Thanks for downloading! We would be Stew, but unfortunately the engine troubles (blog update over the next few days after tonight) mean we are in the process of fixing the bike up. We are hoping to be out at Aintree on the 7th June.

Just as an update, we will be changing the schedule on the app and on here as due to engine problems and lack of finances a few meetings have to be cancelled, so just briefly I will not be racing at aintree on the 14th of June,

Can't make oulton on the 21st as planned so it looks like the steed will be back in action at rockingham, a track I know very well and hopefully should help me out a bit!

It's a long while away but least we will have the bike completely set up and running right!
