Bridgestone are a massive company and they supply tyres for all sorts of racing. I can't see them backing off. Their reputation is at stake.

True, although I have never liked any of the Bridgestones Ive had, plenty of grip I always found but severely lacking in feedback so I found myself having moments as I was unaware that I was pushing so hard

They used to do good tyres. I loved my BT020s and BT010s.

The less said about the BT016s the better (facepalm)

although one of my biking highlights was riding home on a hire SV650 with a brand spanking 0 mile new rear Bridgestone BT023 in the rain, I was sliding it round roundabouts on the way home (not intentionally I might add but still lol)
