Moto 2 engines.

Postby Kwacky » 06 Apr 2021, 21:45

This has been popping up on the MV forums. I don't know if it's true or not.

I thought that the Triumph engines were made in Thailand so the brexit issue would be a non starter.

The article is from Australian Motorcycle News. I asked David Emmett and he says he's heard nothing.

Not sure it has much to do with Brexit for once. The engines are i think maintained by a Spanish company, certainly the Honda ones were.

The Triumph deal was always for three years and the reliability has been exceptional.

It's a company called ExternPro apparently, which is right next to the Aragon circuit, it seems.
And you're spot-on, they're the same people who handled the previous Honda engines.
