Brillant news and I can see Lorenzo being a season threat. He is a multiple world champion and won't be just making up numbers.

Pol announced as Marquez new teammate.

A lot of rumours that Marquez himself is less than happy as he and Pol do not get on. I bet he regrets signing with them for another 4 years now.

It was quite a bold move, signing for that long. Essentially he has to do everything Repsol Honda want from him now.

Does anyone know if there are any big rule changes coming in that time? Or are we likely to see the same bikes on the grid for the next 4 years?

Smart move by HRC (y) sign the worlds best motorcycle rider for 4 years in the middle of a global economic crisis rendering the ability of other teams to counter with attractive wage packets severely limited.

I bet Marquez has the ability to walk away if he wants to.

I can't believe that, in this day and age, someone like him has not have a buy out clause inserted into his contract.

Wouldn't it be the same or similar wherever else he were to go?

Seems the Lorenzo rumour aas one started by Lorenzo himself.

Ducati saying they will not be making any decisions re Dovi until after the first two races and they see how Zarco and Bagnaia get on.

Very fast and talented rider, I just hope Ducatis expectations and pressure don't ruin him.

Marquez may need a bone graft op according to Spanish press which would keep him out for up to 6 months.

I wonder if we will ever find out what he did to mess up his recovery.
