Post by duke63 »

..for the rest of the season.

Rumours are he may take Lorenzo's seat next year.

Zarco needs to go back on a Yamaha as Lorenzo should have. There front end dependent, high corner speed style suits the Yamaha.

Yamaha's priority must be to keep hold of Quartararo.

IMHO the right thing is for Quatararo to get Rossi's seat

Rossi should call it a day at the end of next season.

It would be sad to see him just fade away after all he has done for the sport.

I would agree Cav. Sadly I think Yamaha wont do that so the next bext thing is give Quatararo the latest factory spec bike and support from the factory but within his current team until Rossi retires.

Nakagami re signing for Honda.

Zarco on the Repsol factory bike next year.

Lorenzo on an Avinita Ducati backed by Repsol.

I'm very surprised if HRC back Lorenzo for Ducati in all honesty.. I'm also surprised HRC want Zarco. I'm amazed they haven't pulled the other Marquez up into the ranks

My guess is if Honda want shot of Lorenzo they will have to release him from his contract, otherwise he rides for them. And i don't think they want that either.

His performance this season have been embarrassing.

Honda wont want the current state of affairs to continue as they are. I suspect they wont want Lorenzo to go to another factory team but may release him to a satellite team.

Honda dont normal instigate team orders. You have to think like a Japanese Team Manager would. They want to beat all on comers fair and square, with honor and your only a true champion if you beat every one at the top of their game is their mind set.
