I don't think he's got any choice but to take the blame for that one. I don't think he needed to push that hard so early on in the race. It's not like he was going to leave everyone behind.

He was obviously trying to do what he did the 2nd half of last year and break away early, shame as if him, bradl and smith had stayed upright would have been a free for all towards the end lol

I don't think his bike is good enough for that this year. In terms of performance they all seem to be a bit closer to each other. Even on that massive straight no one was really pulling away.
