Apparently there is a get out clause in Cal Crutchlows contract and his manager has made contact with Suzuki.

I can see it being all Italian at Ducati next year with Dovi and Iannone and in fairness Iannone has earned the ride.

Cal hassn't featured this season. I'm starting to wonder if MotoGP is for him.

In fairness he has had a lot of bad luck with dnf's for no fault of his own.

Bit harsh imo saying its not for him he had a stellar season last year and kept the aliens honest.

Loads of DNFs last season were due to him crashing. He was only just ahead of Bautista on the Gresini. He made the wrong move going to Ducati.

I don't think he had much choice.

Plus he's getting paid shed loads at ducati. If he stays there for a couple of years he will be financially setup for life.

He could then return to world superbikes and win a load of races etc. that's what I'd do.

(Except I don't have any talent)

He wanted the factory ride so no real choice but Ducati. His other option was stay put but he didn't see that as progressing and I can understand the logic although Ducati was a huge gamble it's broken Rossi, Gibernau, melandri, capirossi, Hayden etc.....

5th in the championship for 2013 behind Lorenzo, Marquez, pedrosa and Rossi is no mean feat especially on a satellite bike when bradl was 7th on a works full factory rcv.

Two 2nd places, four 3rds and two poles at that level is pretty impressive in my book. When did we last have a British rider in motogp getting those sort of results ????

Granted he did crash a few more times last season than he or anyone else would wish but when your chasing multiple world champion gp riders on superior machinery you have to ride over the limit.
