Read an article by Redding where he said he had no superbike performance reference points at that time, but looks like he may have addressed that.

Looking forward to seeing a Motogp calibre rider slinging an effectively Motogp spec bike around some tight, twisty and bumpy UK circuits.

Definitely need to get to a few BSB rounds this year. Hopefully some close and exciting racing to entertain the fans.

Still fastest. I think he is going to shake up BSB big time. Not just his riding but his attitude.

Bautista has been fastest in FP1 and 2 in Thailand too.

Who would have thought Motogp riders on near motogp spec bikes would be so competitive in superbikes (wasntme)

I wonder if a certain Doctor is watching and seeing an opening for the future.

I don't think anyone has ever been both WsBK and MotoGP champion. Must be a huge draw if Yamaha made the right back for Rossi. Imagine the sales of the bike from him doing that.

Could be a win win for Yamaha and Rossi but I bet he wished he had stayed at Ducati, they now have the best bike in both top flight classes.

Don't they think the Ducati was the best bike last season too? You can't do anything but admire Ducati.. for the last couple of years they've done nothing but think outside the box and it's paying off. If Dovi doesn't win this year I don't think he ever will - this is his best opportunity.

I think Marquez could win on any bike to be honest with you - he's the young Stoner.

As for Rossi to WSBK, I'd like to see that.

I hope Redding blitzes the BSB field too...

I can't see Rossi going to WSBK , I think he'll run his own MotoGP team when he retires .
Ducati have taken an F1 approach to MotoGP , they are challenging the rules in every area that isn't well defined , I like it but my fear is that much like F1 the rules will become so well defined that everything looks and sounds the same and there will be no room for anything radical and outside the box .

Redding has been quick in testing and I expect he will win races , don't count out his team mate though , I am impressed with Mossey getting to grips with the Suzuki I'm hoping he has a return to form and I'm interested to see how Stapleford does on a big bike too.
