I think it was built by PTR who also built his supersport Honda

I know the stock 1000 Beemer my old works team ran at BSB rounds cost about £30k (that is literally just the cost of the bike) over the season it came to about £300,000 to run the team all in.

That's the cost of a top 10 team in national superstock 1000

That makes sense I suppose....you get into almost any sport at a competitive level you're going to be shelling out some serious coinage.
