Black or gold wheels?

Post by duke63 »

If i were to find some nice 5 spoke Marchesinis for the 748, which colour would you choose?

race bikes of the era were known to have both colours at various stages. I change my mind on this frequently. :D

For your bike I think it has to be gold.

My personal opinion. The black looks a bit more classy against the red, the gold looks a little too blingy.

I like both but gold has a slight advantage over black as gold isn't around as much on bikes :-)

I had it in my head to say black, but then the second picture loaded and I changed my mind. Gold looks pretty sweet on that bike (y)

Gold I reckon, more in keeping with the vintage of the bike, both look good though

Depends what you want, the gold will stand out more. Cant go wrong with either (thats code for I cant make my mind up either)

My brother always tells me if you cant make your mind up just get one coz you will be happy with either.
